       Hello and how are you?  We are pleased to have some "front porch time" with you."  Since you stopped by let's get acquainted.  Drop us a line with any questions or ideas you have and we'll take to chatting.

       I am Donna, the proprietress of The Art of Order & Style.  I am joined by my wonderful husband, Steve.  We are a home styling, cottage industry company.  We enjoy our corner of the world on the east coast of sunny Florida.

     Necessities made pretty is our motto.  We are firm believers that necessity is the mother of invention, (Plato).  Our product line is inspired mostly out of necessity for something we see a need for or desire of.  In my career as a home stylist and soft-line designer I have found that women are seeking  tranquility and peace of self-expression through  their  home decor's and  clothing.  Something that touches her heartstrings, an event which brings forward a loving memory to reconnect with.  Simplicity.

     This is how The Art of Order & Style was born.  I am a farmhouse kinda gal and love the countryside.  I am passionate about  "home"  and the things of yesteryear.  I insist that they be pretty!   I embrace the emotional warmth  of things from my past, especially  people or events  that reconnect me with the women of my family.  And I am blessed to have a strong husband who encourages my bliss!

The Art of  Order & Style is a reenactment of bridging what was into the present,  Our products, consultations, and blogs are centered in the wonderful and imitative things of bygone eras and the simplification they offer.
